Bird House

To begin this project, I researched multiple architectural movements in history. Then I began to incorporate the defining aspects of the styles into sketching ideas for a design for a bird house. Deciding that the Mid-century modern movement offered the most exciting and visually successful options, I refined my sketches, created a full-scale cardboard mock-up of the birdhouse and finally fabricated a final birdhouse from stained wood and clear acrylic.
